Contributes To Healthy Bones
A B12 promotes healthy bones and helps keep your body more agile and robust. Studies reveal that B12 helps in boosting the number of minerals within your bones, thus making them less prone to severe breakage. B12 also fortifies your bones against serious damage.
Individuals with a healthy level of B12 in their system are less likely to encounter osteoporosis in the future. B12 injections are mostly recommended for women since they have a higher risk of osteoporosis than their male counterparts.
How Soon Will I See Results From Mic B12 Treatments
Everyone’s body is different, and the rate of fat metabolism varies from one person to another. Some people may show results in a matter of days, while others may need several weeks or even months.
Remember, weight loss is not an exact science and it is affected by many external factors. It is important to maintain patience when you are following a MIC B12 protocol.
Be aware that your body will require time to adjust to the treatment, and you may not see immediate results. Try to have a positive outlook, maintain your daily exercise routine, and remember that weight loss happens gradually over time.
What Are The Sources Of Vitamin B12
If you want to get your B12 from fortified foods rather than take supplements, youd have to eat three separate servings of B12-fortified foods, ideally with each serving containing at least 190 percent of the Daily Value on the products nutrition facts label.
Foods sources of B12 include:
- Fortified plant-based meats
Are there any green light foods that contain vitamin B12?
Nutritional yeast is a commonly B12-enriched food source and one of my favorites.
How much nutritional yeast would you need to meet the recommended daily B12 dosage for an adult under the age of 65? It depends on the brand. For instance:
- Braggs: 1 teaspoon three times a day
- NOW: 2 teaspoons three times a day
- Bobs Red Mill: 1 tablespoon three times a day
- KAL: 1 tablespoon three times a day
- Red Star: 1 tablespoon three times a day
- Trader Joes: 1½ tablespoons three times a day
Heads-up that Dr. Fuhrmans nutritional yeast and Frontier Co-ops are unfortified.
Which is better? I discuss this in my video The Best Type of Vitamin B12: Cyanocobalamin or Methylcobalamin.
I take cyanocobalamin as my B12 supplement for two reasons: its high stability and its track record of safety and efficacy.
Methylcobalamin is less stable than cyanocobalamin and is particularly susceptible to photodecompositionthat is, destruction from light exposure. One study found that even up to 2,000 micrograms a day of methylcobalamin wasnt enough to correct vitamin B12 deficiency in one of three vegans tested.

The Bottom Line About Vitamins And Weight Loss
The biggest nutrient gaps in our diet are calcium, vitamin D, potassium, and fiber, says Ansel. With the exception of vitamin D, all of these are easy to obtain from a healthy diet. When you get these from minimally processed whole foods youre much more likely to feel naturally full, and youll nourish your body with lots of other important nutrients in the process.
Taking vitamin supplements will not magically help you shed pounds. There are nutrients that may make it more likely that youll stick to healthy eating by, say, lifting your mood or revving you upthough theres no proof that being in a better mood or having more energy is going to help any particular person choose a veggie-centric snack over a bag of chips. Best advice? Cram your meals and snacks full of the healthiest food possible , because overall, its better for your health, from head to toe. Combine that with movement throughout the daymovement thats fun for you so youll stick to it rather than dread itand getting a decent nights sleep on a regular basis. And most of all: Love your body for all it can do for you, every day.

Studies have found that pain disorders do not just hurt, but cause you, sleep, productivity, and excessive stress problems too. Surely a natural, herbal pad with no known side effects is a better option than dozens of painkiller tablets and surgery?
The financial benefits are massive too. People in Ukraine suffering from chronic pain spend thousands of medications and consultations per year. Whats worse is that a lot of treatments and surgeries for chronic pain arent covered by health insurers either

What Foods Have B12
Vitamin B12 is found in a variety of foods, such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. It is used constantly by the human body to maintain essential functions.
Some of its most crucial functions include:
- Supporting the development of red blood cells
- Strengthening the brain and nervous system
- Enhancing immune reactions and function
Vitamin B12 is present in many foods, but people with certain dietary restrictions may have a higher chance of developing a deficiency. This is especially true for vegetarians, vegans, and those with diets that dont allow many animal proteins in their diet. Even when vitamin B12 is regularly ingested, your body could have trouble processing it and putting it to use if you arent also consuming these proteins.
Im currently receiving the B12 injections weekly and I can say for me, getting them regularly really does make a difference. My increased energy, mood control and iron levels are better when I get them.
Jade, NLW Patient in Coralville, Iowa
When someone suffers a prolonged B12 deficiency, theres a chance that they will develop anemia, a condition characterized by low levels of red blood cells. The body struggles to transport sufficient amounts of oxygen to its various tissues, which can cause debilitating weakness.
Is A Mic B12 Injection Going To Hurt
No, MIC B12 injections are no more painful than any other injection. All injections come with a risk of local pain or irritation at the injection site. On rare occasions, some people can suffer an immune reaction to vitamin B12 shot ingredients, but this is more likely if you have autoimmune conditions.
Discussing the treatment protocol with your physician first will highlight any issues you may face with MIC B12 injections.

A study done at the University of Minnesota found that overweight individuals with more vitamin D in their systems lost more weight after they started a weight loss regimen.
Lucky enough for you, vitamin D is one of the cheapest vitamins you can get, its completely free. Your body can produce enough vitamin D simply by bathing in the sweet sunlight. But a lot of people are spending more and more time indoors and the sunlight isnt an option. So there are numerous supplements on the market to help make up that deficit.

A deficiency of vitamin D is associated with weight gain and obesity, and a large percentage of Americans actually have sub-optimal levels of vitamin D.
In addition. Vitamin D can be found in foods such as tuna, beef liver, cheese, egg yolks, cereals and milk.

We all know a little bit about vitamin C. We know that you can get it from a glass of orange juice, or that its great for keeping away a cold.
Did you know that it is beneficial for losing weight though? Research has shown that individuals with higher levels of vitamin C in their systems lost more weight than those with lower levels of vitamin C. Supplements can be a great way to keep your vitamin C levels high, but increasing your intake of fruits and vegetables is a great way to get that vitamin C and go on a healthy diet at the same time.
Does Vitamin B12 Help With Memory
In addition to controlling mood, vitamin B12 also plays an important role in memory and cognition. Low levels of B12 have been linked to a higher risk of dementia and Alzheimers disease. Studies havent been able to prove whether B12 can improve or reverse memory loss once it becomes problematic however, being proactive with taking B12 throughout your life may help prevent the onset of cognitive decline.

What Is The Best Exercise For Weight Loss
The best exercise for weight loss will depend largely on your physical condition. People who have little or no history of exercise and a significant amount of excess weight should begin by walking. As you lose weight and raise your cardiovascular capacity, you can begin jogging or doing other more intense exercises.
Weight training is also considered an essential part of the weight loss journey in anyone physically capable of doing so. Weight training burns glucose, and vitamin B12 plays an essential role in your bodys ability to turn the food you eat into glucose. As such, adequate levels of B12 are essential in reaping the benefits of both weight training and cardiovascular exercise.
Should You Take B12 Everyday
While the recommended daily amount of vitamin B-12 for adults is 2.4 micrograms, higher doses have been found to be safe. Your body absorbs only as much as it needs, and any excess passes through your urine. High doses of vitamin B-12, such as those used to treat a deficiency, might cause: Headache.

B12 Supplements And Injections Are Necessary For Many People
When diet alone can not supply the recommended dose of B12 as is often the case for vegetarians and vegans who dont consume meat and, therefore, dont naturally ingest enough vitamin B12, for example there are oral supplements, nasal sprays and injections containing a synthetic version of B12 that can be used to raise B12 levels in the body and keep a person healthy. There are also prepared foods fortified with B12 that can be consumed as well. Using any one of these options to help maintain sufficient vitamin B12 levels is important when a person experiences a vitamin B12 deficiency since low levels of B12 often result in he or she having megaloblastic and/or pernicious anemia, fatigue, muscle weakness, nerve damage, memory loss, mood disorders and seizures. Vitamin B12 injections, in particular, can be especially helpful because the B12 directly enters the bloodstream and begins to work immediately .

Vitamin B6 As A Weight
As is the case with vitamin B12, there does not appear to be any strong evidence supporting the role of vitamin B6 in weight loss.
If one were to look at the functions of vitamin B6, it is evident that it is required to break down food and burn excess fat by stimulating the metabolism of lipids.
The problem, of course, is that getting excess vitamin B6 can actually be harmful as it can over-stimulate the thyroid gland. By doing so it can actually cause weight loss but this is an unhealthy way to go about doing it.
How Much Vitamin D Is Needed To Lose Weight
To lose weight, you would have to do several things other than supplying your body with enough vitamin D. However, to answer your question, approximately 20ng/ml or 50 nmol/L of vitamin D levels is the optimum value. To get the best out of your weight loss journey, also consider eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Getting Vitamin D naturally, which is through sun exposure is highly suggested.

Can You Take Too Much B12
Because vitamin B12 deficiency is such a common complaint and can have disastrous consequences many people believe that taking high doses of B12 can be more beneficial than sticking to the RDI. But is there any truth to this approach, and will you suffer side effects if you take too many vitamins B12 for weight loss?
Thankfully, there is no identified maximum dose of vitamin B12 due to its low potential for toxicity, making it highly unlikely that you can suffer side effects from overdosing on B12. While we recommend sticking to the recommended daily intake set out by the NIH, there is little evidence to suggest that youll suffer serious side effects if you go over the recommended amounts.

How Does It Work
For the body to absorb vitamin B12, a substance known as intrinsic factor must be present. This substance attaches itself to vitamin B12 molecules and carries them to the intestines where they can be absorbed into the body. Some people have medical or genetic conditions that prohibit their bodies from producing enough intrinsic factor to meet their bodys daily B12 needs, often resulting in a deficiency.
Once absorbed into the body, vitamin B12 helps maintain healthy nerve cells by strengthening the myelin sheath that protects the network of nerves as it courses its way through your body. B12 also aids in the production of DNA. In conjunction with vitamin B9, B12 helps in the creation of hemoglobin in red blood cells. Hemoglobin is what makes red blood cells red and is involved in the transport of oxygen.
